Ongoing Projects

This is an (incomplete) list of all active projects that I have currently ongoing

Projects

  • PASI (Programme d’acompagnement et de soutien à l’intégration/ Navigating Integration Services) project
    • As part of a project headed by Prof. Valérie-Anne Mahéo at Université Laval, I am involved with analyzing a novel panel dataset on recent immigrants to Quebec. The project is funded by MIFI (the Quebec government agency responsible for immigration), and uses survey respondents recruited with their assistance through administrative data. With this assistance, we not only are able to survey recently arrived immigrants, a normally difficult to sample population, but are also able to follow up with them, allowing for analyses of the impact of initial experiences on later political and social integration, as well as political attitudes. This is the first panel dataset on political attitudes composed exclusively of recently arrived immigrants in either Canada or the US.
